Simple Aloe Vera Skin Care Recipes
There are three simple recipes using aloe vera that can benefit your skin:
Soothing Aloe Vera Face Mask: Mix one tablespoon of fresh aloe vera gel, half a tablespoon of honey, and one teaspoon of plain yogurt in a small bowl. Apply the mixture evenly on your clean face, leave it for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water. This mask is excellent for soothing and calming your skin.
Hydrating Aloe Vera and Cucumber Toner: Blend together 1/4 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and 1/4 tablespoon of juice extracted from a grated cucumber. Apply this toner on your clean face using a cotton pad and let it dry naturally. This toner helps balance your skin’s pH, reduces inflammation, and provides a refreshing sensation.
Spot Treatment: Mix one tablespoon of fresh aloe vera gel with two to three drops of tea tree essential oil. Apply a small amount of this mixture directly on acne spots, leave it on overnight or for one to two hours, then rinse off with cool water. This spot treatment helps unclog pores, heal blemishes, and combat acne-causing bacteria and inflammation.
