Ingredients

  • 1 cup poha (flattened rice)

  • Half cup peanuts

  • 2.5 teaspoons coconut oil (you can also use desi ghee)

  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

  • 1 teaspoon curry leaves

  • A pinch of salt

  • Pizza sauce

  • A pinch of amchur powder

  • A pinch of black pepper powder

  • A pinch of turmeric powder

  • A pinch of chaat masala

  • A pinch of jaggery powder

  • A pinch of red chili powder (you can also add chili flakes for extra spice)

  • A few drops of lemon juice

Instructions

1. Start by roasting the peanuts in a pan with coconut oil. Roast them until they turn crispy. Then remove them from the pan and set them aside.

2. In the same pan, add a little more oil and heat it. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and allow them to crackle. Then add curry leaves and let them splutter for a while.

3. Now, add the poha to the pan without adding any oil. Roast it until it becomes crispy. Be careful not to burn it. Once done, remove it from the pan and set it aside.

4. In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted peanuts, poha, and the mixed nuts and seeds. Mix them well.

5. In a small bowl, prepare the seasoning by mixing pink salt, amchur powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala, and red chili powder.

6. Heat a pan and add a little oil. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoning mixture to the pan and sauté it for a while.

7. Add the roasted mixture of peanuts, poha, and nuts and seeds to the pan. Mix everything together until the seasoning is evenly coated.

8. Finally, add a few drops of lemon juice to enhance the flavor and give a tangy taste.

9. Allow the mixture to cool down completely before storing it in an airtight container.
