Creamy Pasta With Spinach
Creamy pasta with spinach is a delicious and nutritious meal that combines the creaminess of the sauce with the healthy goodness of spinach. Spinach is a nutrient-rich leafy green that provides vitamins A, C, and K, as well as iron, magnesium, and folate.

Ingredients
– Salt
– 2.5 0z whole wheat penne pasta
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 garlic
– ¼ cup yellow onion
– 4 0z crushed tomatoes
– 1 tbsp tomato paste
– 1 tbsp water
– ⅛ tbsp dried basil
– ⅛ tbsp dried oregano
– Salt and black pepper
– Pinch of red pepper flakes
– 1 tbsp cream cheese
– 1 0z spinach
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the whole wheat penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced yellow onion, sauté until fragrant.

3. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes to the pan. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in cream cheese until melted and well combined. Add spinach and stir until wilted.

5. Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss until everything is well coated with the creamy tomato sauce.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
