Chicken Burger

Ingredients
– ¾ cup whole wheat flour
– ½ tbsp instant yeast
– ¼ tbsp salt
– ⅓ cup warm water
– 1 tbsp honey
– 1 egg
– 1 tbsp canola oil
– ½ tbsp sesame seeds
– 1 clove garlic
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– ½ medium red bell pepper
– 6 0z ground chicken breast
– ¼ tbsp oregano
– Salt and black pepper
– 2 tbsp tomato sauce
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, instant yeast, and salt.
2. Stir in warm water and honey to form a dough.
3. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together egg, canola oil, sesame seeds, and minced garlic.

5. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté diced red bell pepper until soft.
6. Add ground chicken breast to the skillet and cook until browned.
7. Season with oregano, salt, and black pepper.

8. Roll out the dough and cut into bun-sized circles.
9. Place the chicken mixture onto half of the dough circles, then top with a dollop of tomato sauce.
10. Cover with remaining dough circles and seal the edges.
11. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes.
