Broccoli Crust Pizza

Ingredients
– 1 medium head broccoli
– 1 egg
– Salt and black pepper
– ¼ tbsp italian seasoning
– ¼ cup low fat mozzarella cheese
– 3 tbsp tomato sauce
– ¼ onion
– ¼ red bell pepper
– 1 mushroom
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F
2. Cut the broccoli into small florets and pulse in a food processor until it is finely chopped.

3. Microwave the chopped broccoli for 2-3 minutes until it is tender. Let it cool.
4. In a large bowl, mix the cooled broccoli, egg, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and mozzarella cheese until well combined.
5. Spread the broccoli mixture on a lined baking sheet to form a crust, about ¼ inch thick.
6. Bake the crust in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until it is golden and firm.

7. Top the crust with tomato sauce, sliced onion, red bell pepper, mushroom, and any other desired toppings.
8. Place the pizza back into the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the toppings are cooked and the cheese is melted.
9. Slice and serve hot.
