Ingredients

–  1 0z walnut halves

–  ½ cup whole wheat flour

–  ¾ cup old fashioned oats

–  ½ tbsp baking powder

–  ½ tbsp ground cinnamon

–  Salt

–  ¾ cup applesauce

–  ¼ cup milk

–  2 tbsp melted coconut oil

–  1 egg

–  ½ tbsp vanilla extract

–  2 tbsp coconut sugar

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, milk, melted coconut oil, egg, vanilla extract, and coconut sugar.

4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
